MOBILE, Ala. ? South Alabama cross country returns from last weekend’s pair of second place team finishes and will close out the regular season schedule at the Coach “O” Invitational in Troy, Ala.
The women’s race is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. followed by the men’s 5K race at 10:30. The Jaguar men will add tough competition to Saturday’s race; the top three USA runners have finished in the top 10 in all three races this year. Senior Micah Tirop is looking to extend his first-place streak to four on the season.
The Lady Jags are led by Magrina Chepkoech, Natalie Dixon, Louise Faye and Jobenita Davison; all have consistently finished as the top Jaguar performers throughout the season. In the last three races, South Alabama has had seven runners place in the top 10.
