34TH RANKED SOUTH ALABAMA WOMEN'S TENNIS REBOUNDS WITH 6-1 VICTORY OVER MINNESOTA

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The 34th-ranked University of South Alabama women's tennis team (6-3) rebounded with a 6-1 victory Saturday over Minnesota (3-6) at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center in the campus of the University of Louisville.

The Jaguars opened the match when they swept the doubles portion of the match to gain the early 1-0 lead. At No. 1, Adrianna Solarova and Jarova Klara captured an 8-5 victory over the Gophers' Ida Malmberg and Nischela Reddy. South Alabama wrapped up the sweep with an 8-2 win at No. 2 and an 8-1 victory at No. 3 from the duos of Sylvanie Spanenberg/Maria Zivcicova and Jelena Krivacevics/Dijana Stanic, respectively.

The Jags kept the momentum going and sealed the match victory by picking up wins at the Nos. 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 positions. USA's Solarova, Zicicova, Michaela Babicova, Jarova and Spanenberg each picked up straight set victories over their Big 10 opponents.

South Alabama will return home to host Marshall on March 11 at 11 a.m. at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts.
