MOBILE, Ala. –The Courtroom, a weekly one-hour radio show featuring University of South Alabama men’s and women’s basketball coaches John Pelphrey and Rick Pietri, is scheduled to begin Tuesday afternoon at Banana Docks Café.

The show will be held from noon until 1 p.m. all season long and can be heard on WNSP 105.5 FM. The Courtroom is scheduled to move to the Monday afternoon slot on Dec. 5. Also, each broadcast will be available via audio on the internet at www.wnsp.com. Lee Shirvanian, in his 27th season as play-by-play announcer for Jag basketball, will serve as the show’s host.

Banana Docks Café is located on Hillcrest Road near the USA campus.

Pelphrey and the Jaguars begin their season at home for the first time in seven years Friday, Nov. 18 against Spring Hill at 7:05 p.m. in the Mitchell Center, while Pietri and the Lady Jags open the 2005-06 season at McNeese State on Nov. 18. The Lady Jags open the home slate Nov. 21 against Southern Mississippi at 7 p.m.
