MOBILE, Ala. - South Alabama men's golf head coach Ben Hannan announced the program's 2026-27 schedule Friday.

The Jaguars open with a trip to Destin, Fla., for the Destin Collegiate Golf Tournament at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort (Sept. 14-16). They will then play two additional events in October in Dallas, Texas, and Tulsa, Okla., before hosting the Steelwood Collegiate in Loxley, Ala., to conclude the fall season (Oct. 31-Nov. 1).

South Alabama will host two spring events: the Hal Williams Collegiate (Feb. 16-17) and the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate (March 30-31). The Jaguars will conclude the 2026-27 schedule with postseason play at the 2027 Sun Belt Championship in Jackson, Mississippi (April 26-29).

Entering the 2026-27 season, South Alabama returns five players from last year's roster, including seniors Cole Haygood and Josh Hill, who will look to provide veteran leadership as the Jaguars aim for another productive season.

When asked which players he expects to make an impact this season, Hannan pointed to the team's returning experience and increased depth.

"We return some very solid players from last year and have added four new faces, making the depth on this team very competitive," Hannan said. "Outside of the seniors, juniors Tim Kretschmann and Filip Svendsen were mainstays in the lineup, playing in every event last year, and I expect them to continue that success into this season."

Even with the upcoming loaded schedule, Hannan welcomed the opportunity to compete against some of the nation's top programs.

"We have a very strong tournament lineup this fall, playing some great golf courses where we will be tested at every event against top programs such as NCAA national champion Auburn, along with nationally ranked Virginia, Georgia Tech, Texas A&M, and Mississippi State," Hannan said. "But with our depth and experience on this season's team, we are really looking forward to getting it all started in September."
