MOBILE, Ala. - First Team All-Conference recipient Hugo Thyr has been selected to compete as an individual at the NCAA Athens Regional, hosted by Georgia.

Thyr will be the only Jaguar in program history to make four regional appearances after he fired a program record 69.83 stroke average over the course of the 2025-26 season.

The senior will compete alongside nine other individuals, three of which being Sun Belt Conference players, while 13 teams will tee-it-up in the postseason in Athens.

Thyr made his first regional appearance as a freshman where he placed T-23 at the 2023 NCAA Auburn Regional. His sophomore appearance marked a T-58 finish at the 2024 NCAA Baton Rouge Regional, while his previous appearance as a junior landed T-35 at the 2025 NCAA Tallahassee Regional.
