NOTABLE:
  • South Alabama and FGCU are now split all-time, both tallying two wins.
  • Jade Marie boasts a three-match winning streak, going 7-1 in her last 10 appearances in the singles draw. Two of those victories have been in straight sets.
  • The Jags earned their first doubles point since Campbell (3/13), when Elakili/Ennaciri and Maeda/Rovira both won 6-3.
  • Maeda/Rovira boast a 7-1 record at No. 2 in doubles.

QUOTABLE:
Jaco Keyser, Head Coach:
  • "Huge road win for the girls. One of the more important wins in recent memory, as Florida Gulf Coast is a nasty ASUN team. We needed a win badly to stop the bleeding and remind ourselves that we are a pretty good team. Credit to the girls digging in and playing with that elevated willpower and desperation. Hopefully, we have turned the corner and are ready to peak at the right time.

UP NEXT:
The Jaguars will close the regular season with a road stretch, facing Arkansas State and Texas State in Jonesboro, Ark., on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
