JONESBORO, Ark. – #74 South Alabama women's tennis dropped a match to Texas State on Saturday, losing 4-3. The Jags finished the regular season with an 11-6 mark.

• The Jaguars are now 9-1 against Texas State, their first loss to the Bobcats in program history.
• South Alabama finished the regular season with an 11-6 record, including one win over a ranked opponent and four weeks in the ITA Top-75.
• Jade Marie finished the regular season with an 11-2 mark at No. 5.
• The Jags have won two of their last three doubles points.

• "Always tough coming up short in a great four-and-a-half-hour battle. Credit to Texas State for holding steady in the clutch for the comeback win. No doubt a tough end to a roller coaster regular season. Although disappointed in this weekend, we cannot lose sight of the fact that we have been nationally ranked all year and are most likely going into the conference tournament as a top-four seed. We need to rest up and see if we can peak when it matters the most in two weeks."
