PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Sun Belt Conference named
Chrysta Narcisse to the All-Tournament Team on Monday, following the conclusion of the Visit Pensacola Sun Belt Women's Basketball Championship presented by Air Force Reserve.
Narcisse, a redshirt-sophomore, displayed a stellar performance through the Jaguars' run in the tournament. Across five games, she averaged 11.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. She also averaged 41.9% from the field, 40.0% from beyond the arc and 84.2% at the charity stripe.
The Lafayette, La. native tallied a career-high 24 points against Coastal Carolina (3/4), making her one of the nine players in the tournament to score 20 or more points. She also went 4-for-5 from three with a 63.6 field-goal percentage.
Against Marshall, Narcisse went a career-high 8-for-8 at the charity stripe, also tallying five assists and going 5-for-10 from the field. Narcisse had the second-most attempts to secure a perfect mark at the charity stripe, only behind the Jaguars'
Tamara Ortiz, who went 9-for-9 against Texas State (3/5).
Narcisse averaged 4.82 rebounds per game and totaled 80 assists for the season. She was also one of the three Jaguars to appear in every game of the season, starting all but two.
The last Jaguars to make a Sun Belt Conference All-Tournament Team were Shaforia Kines and Antoinette Lewis, who led the program to an appearance in the tournament championship.
