MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama Men's Tennis knocked off Southern Miss by a score of 4-0 Sunday afternoon at Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts.
 
The victory improved South's overall record to 6-8.

"It's always a good rivalry with Southern Miss. We had to stay focused because they're an explosive team. Getting the doubles point was key for us. Then we went into singles and had some momentum. We got some first sets and kept the others close. You could feel it on all six courts. It was a great battle everywhere. At the end, the finish line was right there and we just had to push. It came down to our captain, Braden. He kept pushing and won it in a tiebreaker."
