MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama women's basketball (10-17, 3-13) will host Southern Miss (14-14, 7-9) for Jaguars Unite/Greek Night at 5 p.m. CST on Wednesday at the Mitchell Center.
SERIES HISTORY:
The Jaguars are 14-27 against the Lady Eagles, their last meeting an 84-65 loss on Dec. 18, 2025, in Hattiesburg, Miss.
Cordasia Harris tallied 15 points and 11 rebounds, marking one of her 10 double-doubles of the season.
SCOUTING THE JAGS:
- South Alabama hosts the Lady Eagles after a 64-59 road win over Texas State on Saturday, giving the Jaguars their first 10-win season since 2020-21.
- Across last week's games, Daniela Gonzalez and Diawna Carter-Hartley tied for 26th in the nation in double-doubles, each of them tallying one.
- Last week, Tamara Ortiz shot 6-for-6 from the charity stripe, one of the 144 players in the nation to do so.
- Head Coach Yolisha Jackson looks to earn her fourth Sun Belt victory of the year. Last week's victory over the Bobcats marked her third, a career-high.

- Southern Miss travels to Mobile after a 97-80 loss to Troy on Saturday.
- The Lady Eagles have lost seven of their past 10 games, victories against Old Dominion, Texas Stae and Louisiana.
- In her first season at the helm in Hattiesburg, Head Coach Missy Bilderback has earned an even .500 record (14-14).
- Notably, Southern Miss boasts a win over Troy, the top seed in the Sun Belt.
