NATCHITOCHES, La. – South Alabama women's tennis defeated Tarleton State 4-3 on Saturday at the Jack Fisher Lady Demon Complex in Natchitoches, La. The Jaguars are now 6-0 for the season and the only undefeated team in the Sun Belt.

NOTABLE:
- South Alabama is now 1-0 all-time against Tarleton State, the leader of the Western Athletic Conference.
- The Jaguars have extended their road-match winning streak to 5, their last loss on March 23, 2025, against James Madison.
- Cristina Tchanichev, Jade Marie and Ava Rath remain undefeated in singles. Tchanichev is 5-0, Marie is 4-0 and Rath is 1-0.
- The Jaguars' 6-0 start is their best since 2023, when they went 10-0 until their loss to James Madison on March 26.
