MOBILE, Ala. | Eva Dittmar and Dalayla Blackwell combined for 26 kills as South Alabama completed the series sweep with a 3-1 (25-15, 27-29, 26-24, 25-19) win over Louisiana Tech Saturday at Jaguar Gym.

With the win, South Alabama improves to 7-9 overall and 2-2 in the Sun Belt Conference.

Dittmar led the club with 15 kills and posted a .467 attack percentage, while Blackwell recorded 11 kills and a .529 attack percentage. Blackwell also added three block assists – one of five Jaguar players with three or more blocks in the match.

Anabelle Cerny posted four of South's 12 service aces in the match – matching a season-high for the Jag freshman. Addison Hurst added three aces and 10 digs, while Marissa Taix also had two aces.

Louisiana Tech (7-11, 0-4 SBC) was led by Taylor Woods' 15 kills and Kylie Rodriguez's 10 kills.

Quotable – head coach Jesse Ortiz
- On the match: "A lot of credit to Louisiana Tech. They have a lot of athleticism and arm speed. I think Taylor Woods is a tremendous addition to the Sun Belt Conference; she's a great outside hitter. As they got better being able to pass out serves, they were more in the game and more in the fight.

"I thought we played with a lot of tenacity. We were tested and I appreciate the fact that we stayed aggressive. We could have waited it out, and you can't do that in the Sun Belt, you'll lose matches that way. I'm happy we got the 'W."
