MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama women's basketball (8-7, 1-4) will host ULM (7-7, 2-3) for the second game of a doubleheader at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Mitchell Center in Mobile, Ala.
SERIES HISTORY:
The Jaguars are 23-14 against the Warhawks, their last matchup resulting in a 44-61 deficit last week (1/1) in Monroe, La.
SCOUTING THE JAGS:
- The Jaguars host the Warhawks after a 67-107 loss to Arkansas State on Thursday.
- Cordasia Harris recorded her eighth double-double of the season on Thursday, sending her to rank eighth in the nation in total double-doubles.
- South Alabama has dominated from downtown, ranking second in the Sun Belt in three-point percentage (35.6) and three-point percentage defense (26.2).
SCOUTING THE WARHAWKS:
- The Warhawks travel to Mobile after snagging their first road victory of the season against Louisiana on Thursday, 61-51. The 10-point victory also marked ULM's second league win.
- Marcavia Shavers, a graduate center, is averaging 9.0 rebounds per game. Against the Ragin' Cajuns, Shavers recorded 12 points and 16 rebounds.
- J'Mani Ingram has also made an impact with the Warhawks, averaging 12.50 points a game.
