Quotable – head coach Jesse Ortiz
- On his thoughts on the match: "I thought we showcased a lot of athleticism out on the court tonight. Mississippi State's a good squad. I definitely thought we started off a little slow, but we were able to pick things up as the match went on. We had a lot of contributions from many different people. I thought we showed a lot of fight, and I feel this is a match that could have gone differently for us; we just have to work a little bit harder when we have our opportunities. Sarah (Gooch) had a tremendous match for us. We're just going to regroup and get ready for our next three matches this weekend.
