MOBILE, Ala. - South Alabama travels to West Point, Miss. for their final regular season event of the season.
The Jaguars are entering the tournament after a record-setting home tournament performance, winning their first team event since The Clerico in 2022. South Alabama was led by Junior Hugo Thyr, who set a program record for lowest individual total in Jaguar history with his 64-67-66--197 score. His first round score also tied the USA record for best individual round. The team's 276-283-272--831 score was also a record for best tournament score and the third round set the program record for best team round.

- Old Waverly GC was founded in 1988, with its sister course, Mossy Oak Golf Club founded in 2016.
- Old Waverly GC has played host to the SEC Women's Championship, US Women's Am, US Mid-Am, and the 1999 US Women's Open.
- Course designed by US Open Champion Jerry Pate and Bob Cupp.
- Event was hosted every year from 2013-2019, and 2021, before Mississippi State moved their host event across the street to the Mossy Oak Golf Club.
- Due to renovations at Mossy Oak, MSU is reviving the Old Waverly CC for the first time since 2021.
- South Alabama's Emerson Newsome was Old Waverly CC's inaugural tournament medalist, with a 67-71-72–210 (-6) score.
