Box Score HARRISBURG, Va.- The Jaguars fought hard Sunday morning in Harrisburg, but fell to James Madison in a 4-1 final. The loss drops South to 10-5 on the season and 3-3 in Sun Belt play.
South started the day off in a hard-fought series of doubles matches. Unfortunately the Jaguars would lose the doubles point despite a great effort from
Manal Ennaciri and
Lara van der Merwe in which they came up short in a 4-6 defeat.
In singles, South remained resilient.
Kenza Elakili gave the Jaguars their first point, defeating her opponent 6-2, 6-0. The Jaguars battled on, but it would not be enough as the Dukes proved to be too much as South fell 4-1.
