Box Score MOBILE, Ala.- The South Alabama women's tennis team cruised to a 6-1 victory over West Florida Sunday afternoon at Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts. The Jaguars improved to 2-0 on the season.
Sunday's match began with
Delien Kleinhans and
Rio Maeda notching an impressive 6-1 win over doubles opposition.
Manal Ennaciri and
Lara van der Merwe followed up with a 6-4 victory to give South the advantage in the doubles department.
Chems Doha Zeghlouli and
Kenza Elakili would round out doubles action for the Jaguars as they notched together 6-5, 7-1 tiebreaker victory.
Delien Kleinhans got South Alabama off to a dominant start in the singles category, as she pulled together a 6-0, 6-2 win.
Lara van der Merwe followed up as she grabbed a 6-1, 7-5 victory.
Chems Doha Zeghlouli helped the Jaguars stack up another win as she took down her opponent in a 6-2, 6-4 victory. Freshman
Kenza Elakili took down her oppoent in a 6-0, 6-3 final.
Rio Maeda wrapped up the day for South as she defeated her opponent in a 6-4, 6-3 final.

South Alabama will be back in action as they have their first road match against Tulane on Friday, February 7th at 2:00 PM.
