Jaguars travel to Mississippi for neutral site match with Wyoming

MOBILE, Ala. – The Jaguars hit the road to close out non-conference action, traveling to Mississippi for a neutral site match against Wyoming on Wednesday, March 6 at 5:30 p.m.
 
South Alabama sits at 5-2, with both losses being on the road, falling to No. 14 Auburn and Florida Atlantic.
 
The Jags are coming off a 5-2 win over Samford on Feb. 2, with their last match, originally scheduled for Feb. 28 vs Northwestern State, was postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.
 
In the Jaguars' last match, the squad dropped the doubles point and then rallied back with five straight singles wins, en route to their 5-2 win over the Bulldogs.
 
Elysia Pool leads the Jaguars squad with six wins this season, all from number two singles. The doubles duo of Pool and Tereza Dejnozkova are 5-1 so far this season, all from the number one spot.
 
Wyoming is 8-5 on the year and is coming off a 3-4 loss to Western Kentucky on Feb. 24. 
 
Wednesday's match will be the first meeting between the Jaguars and the Cowgirls.
