MOBILE, Ala. – The No. 14 seed South Alabama Jaguars begin postseason play on Tuesday, March 5, as they are set to take on No. 11 Coastal Carolina in the first round of the 2024 Hercules Tires Sun Belt Conference Women's Basketball Championship, which will take place in Pensacola, Fla. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.

South Alabama closed the regular season going 1-1 on the road, beating Louisiana on Tuesday before falling to Troy on Friday.

The Jaguars ended the season 9-22, going 2-16 in conference play, with Sun Belt wins on the road against Texas State and Louisiana.

Rachel Leggett closed the season on a high note, totaling a career-high 26 points in the season finale vs Troy, going 10-of-16 from the field, also a career-high.

Coastal Carolina 1-1 in the final week of the regular season, falling to James Madison and then getting a 74-62 win over Georgia State. The Chanticleers finished the year 11-20, going 5-13 in league play.
