TROY, Ala. –
Rachel Leggett led all scorers with a career-high 26 points, but dominant offense from Troy was too much for the Jaguars, as South Alabama fell 108-71 in the regular season finale.

Behind five double-digit scorers, the Trojans built up a strong lead, and the Jaguars were unable to cut into the deficit, dropping the contest and falling to 0-2 against the Trojans this season.

Leggett finished the night shooting 10-for-16 from the field, with her 10 made field goals setting a new career high. Leggett was joined in double figures by
Jordan Rosier and
Nadia Howard, who totaled 17 and 11, respectively.

Leggett also led the team in rebounding, bringing down nine, one shy of her third double-double of the season. Â

Makayia Hallmon paced the Trojan squad with 21 points, while Leilani Guion totaled 18, Tai'Sheka Porchia added 17, Ja'Mia Hollings tacked on 15 and Sharonica Hartsfield added 10. Hollings also brought down 10 rebounds, totaling her 11
th double-double.

The home squad held the advantage in all three shooting categories in Friday's contest, shooting 5.0% from the field, 47.8% from deep and 64.3% from the free throw line, compared to 42%, 30% and 52% from South.

Troy's 44 made field goals on 83 attempts are both season-highs from Jaguar opponents this season.
