MOBILE, Ala. – After two weeks on the road, the Jaguars return to Mobile on Saturday to host Samford at 10 a.m. at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts.
South Alabama is 4-2 on the year, with both being road losses, falling to No. 14 Auburn and Florida Atlantic.
South is coming off a 1-1 weekend, battling to a 4-3 win over Stetson before falling 2-5 to FAU. South's third match scheduled last weekend was canceled due to weather.
Elysia Pool leads the Jaguars squad with five wins this season, all from number two singles. The doubles duo of Pool and
Tereza Dejnozkova are undefeated, going 5-0 so far this season.
Samford is 3-4 this season and is coming off a 3-4 loss to UAB on Thursday.
South Alabama holds the advantage in the series with the Bulldogs, leading 16-3. The Jags are a perfect 9-0 against Samford in Mobile.
