MOBILE, Ala. – The Jaguars wrap up their opening home stand this weekend, hosting West Florida on Friday at 1 p.m., before hitting the road for the first time this season to No. 14 Auburn on Sunday at 2 p.m.

South Alabama is 2-0 on the season after a 7-0 sweep over Florida A&M on Sunday. The Jaguars showed their strength in the win, dropping just one set the entire match; a 6-7 loss at number one singles.

West Florida's first match of the season will be when they make the trip to Mobile, and are coming off a 14-10 2023 record, including a NCAA DII South Regionals appearance.

The No. 14 ranked Auburn Tigers are 2-1 on the season, with their lone loss being a 1-6 loss at the hands of No. 1 ranked North Carolina. Â

A week ago, the Tigers played in the ITA Kickoff, and claimed wins over Denver and No. 15 Duke, earning the squad a spot in the 2024 ITA National Team Indoor Championships for the third year in a row.

South Alabama is undefeated against West Florida, holding a 16-0 record against the Argos. South Alabama is 9-13 against Auburn, with the last matchup being a 0-7 win for No. 37 Auburn on April 12, 2007.

All home tennis matches will be at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Courts and admission is free.
