Jaguars host Texas State and Southern Miss to continue homestand

MOBILE, Ala. – The Jaguars continue their homestand for another week, hosting Texas State on Thursday at 11 a.m., before welcoming in Southern Miss on Saturday for a 2 p.m. tip. Both games will be streamed on ESPN+.
 
South Alabama (7-12, 0-7) is still looking for its first conference win of the season, going 0-2 at the Mitchell Center last week, with losses to Arkansas State and Georgia State. South Alabama looks to pass their 3-15 Sun Belt record from a season ago.
 
Texas State comes into town with a 10-9 record, holding a 1-6 record in conference play. The Bobcats are on a five-game losing streak, with their lone Sun Belt win being a 67-58 win over App State. Southern Miss is 9-8 on the year, with a 2-5 conference record. South Alabama and the Lady Eagles met once already this season, with Southern Miss winning the contest 77-69 in Hattiesburg.  
 
Thursday is the annual Kids Game, while Saturday is the Play4Kay game.
