Mobile, Ala. - The top two team leaders in kills are returning as well as adding an infusion of transfer and freshman talent to the Jaguar offense. Look for them in action on Friday, August 25th, at 6 p.m. against Stephen F. Austin in Jaguar Gym.

Hannah Maddux (6-2, 5th Year) - (2022) Appeared in all 31 games and made 26 starts … 2022 SBC First Team honors … Two-time SBC Offensive Player of the Week (9/20, 9/27) … Third in the conference and 27th nationally in total kills, third in conference in total attacks, fourth in conference for kills per set, and led the Sun Belt in conference play for points per set … Team leader in attacks, kills, kills per set, and tied for solo blocks … Season high 25 kills at Southern Miss (9/23), seven digs against Texas State (10/21), six blocks against Texas State (10/22), and tied her career high in service aces against Louisiana (10/14) … in 118 sets she totaled 478 kills, 21 service aces, 75 digs, 26 solo blocks and 71 total blocks, and three assists.
Maddie Soboleski (6-0, Senior) - (2022) Started 21 of her 24 appearances … Ranked second in the conference and 50th in the nation in attacks per set (10.83) … Ninth in the Sun Belt in kills (3.63) … Led the Jaguars in aces per set (.25) … Tallied her season high 22 kills against Houston (9/09), a season best 19 digs against McNeese State (9/03), and her season high three blocks against Troy (10/29) … Ended her campaign with 338 kills off 1007 attacks, 202 digs, 23 service aces, 27 total blocks, and eight assists from 93 sets played.
Lillie Simons (5-11, Redshirt Junior) - (2022) Made six starts in 29 appearances … Set career high eight kills and 11 points against Coastal Carolina (11/05), Career high five digs against Coastal Carolina (11/04), and a career high in total blocks against Coastal Carolina with seven (11/18) … Season totals of 103 kills from 287 attacks, 72 blocks, 35 digs, and two assists from 100 sets played.
