Mobile, Ala. - The Jaguars are returning two of last year's three setters as well as welcoming a newcomer for the 2023 campaign. South Alabama opens the season at home with the Jaguar Invitational hosting Stephen F. Austin on August 25, at 6 p.m. at Jaguar Gym.

- Kailey Keeble (5-8, Sr.) - (2022) Started all 31 games … 2022 Sun Belt Second-Team All-Conference … Fourth in the conference in assists per set (10.15) and total assists (1,188) … Her 1,188 assists is the fourth most in a season for South Alabama … Played 117 sets and recorded 1,188 assists, 375 digs, 56 kills, .297 hitting percentage, and 57 total blocks … Set a career high 26 digs at South Florida (8/27) … Set a career high six kills against Marshall (11/17) … Named SBC Setter of the Week (9/6) … Preseason All-Sun Belt Team.
- Anna Loberg (6-0, R-So.) - (2022) Made 22 appearances … Set career high 28 assists vs ULM (10/01) … Set career high 8 digs vs Louisiana (10/14/23) … Ended the season with 64 assists, 38 digs, and seven aces on 53 sets played.

WHAT TO KNOW
- Keeble has been voted 2023 Preseason SBC Setter of the Year and selected for the 2023 Preseason All-Sun Belt Team.
- Keeble is coming off another stellar campaign where she set the fourth-most assists in a single season by a Jaguar with 1,188 assists.
- Keeble also set the fourth-best assists per set mark in Jaguar history with 10.15 assists per set.
- Loberg's best series came against ULM, where she recorded 33 assists, seven digs, and two service aces between the two games.
