MOBILE, Ala. – The South Alabama women's tennis team stays on the road this weekend, traveling to conference newcomers No. 23 Old Dominion Saturday and James Madison on Sunday. Both matches will be at 9 a.m.

The Jags are 12-1 on the season, 2-0 in conference play, and are coming off a 7-0 sweep of Arkansas State.

South's match against the Red Wolves saw no losses and the Jags dropped just one set all day. South opened the day by winning the doubles point and then got wins on all six courts to get the sweep, their second in conference play.

Senior
Luminita Tutunaru is now 11-1 on the season in singles play, while freshmen
Tereza Dejnozkova and
Chems Doha Zeghlouli are both 9-1 in on the year.

No. 23 Old Dominion is 8-4 on the season and is 3-0 in Sun Belt play, getting wins over Louisiana, Texas State and Marshall.

The Monarchs of Old Dominion are host to the No. 20 singles player in Tatsiana Sasnouskaya and the No. 26 doubles duo in Sofia Johnson and Sasnouskaya.

James Madison is 7-5 on the year and is 3-0 in conference play, with wins over Louisiana, Texas State and App State.

South is 5-0 all-time against Old Dominion, going 4-0 against the Monarchs in Norfolk. The Jags will be meeting James Madison for the first time.
