MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama hits the road for the first time this season, traveling to New Orleans for a pair of matches against Sam Houston on Saturday and Tulane on Sunday.

South is 4-0 on the season, posting a perfect record last weekend, beating Mobile 6-1 on Friday and West Florida 6-1 on Sunday.

Sam Houston is 2-3 this season, dropping their last three matches to Lamar, Texas State and UTSA. Tulane is 3-2, and is coming off three straight wins, facing Southern, ULM and New Orleans.

South's most recent win saw wins on five singles courts, after winning the doubles point.

Tereza Dejnozkova,
Otoha Aoki and Xhems Doha Zeghlouli earned singles wins while
Delien Kleinhans dropped her match.

Aoki, Dejnozkova, Tutunaru and Zeghlouli are all perfect in singles this season, with Dejnozkova going 2-0 while the other three have posted a 4-0 record.

The doubles duos of Tutunaru/Dejnozkova is 2-0 on the season, while Kleinhans/Zeghlouli are 3-0 on the season. Â

Sam Houston was 9-11 last season, while Tulane posted a 12-9 record in 2022.
