MOBILE, Ala. – The undefeated South Alabama women's tennis team hits the road for the second time this season, traveling to Birmingham for matches against Murray State Saturday at 2 p.m. and Samford on Sunday at noon.
 
South is now 8-0 on the season, coming out of last weekend with a 4-0 win over New Orleans and a 5-2 win over Southeastern Louisiana.
 
Murray State is 4-4 on the season, and is currently on a four-match losing streak. The Bulldogs of Samford are 4-3 on the season, with their last lost coming from the hands of UAB.
 
South's most recent win, a 5-2 defeat of Southeastern Louisiana, saw wins on four of six courts, where 
Nikola Novotna, 
Elysia Pool, 
Tereza Dejnozkova and 
Otoha Aoki won their singles matches. 
Luminita Tutunaru was dished her first loss of the season, but is still 7-1 in singles play on the year.
 
Dejnozkova, 
Chems Doha Zeghlouli and Aoki are all perfect in singles this season, with Dejnozkova and Aoki going 5-0 so far and Zeghouli posting a 6-0 record.
 
The doubles duos of Tutunaru/Dejnozkova, Pool/Novotna and 
Delien Kleinhans/Zeghlouli are all 3-1 on the season.
 
The Jags saw Samford in tournament play last fall, where 
Luminita Tutunaru and 
Tereza Dejnozkova earned a win over Alexis Lopez and Lindsay Song in doubles play. Tutunaru and Aoki also got wins in singles play in the tournament.
 
South and Murray State are meeting for the first time in dual match play, while the Jags lead the series with Samford 15-3.
