MOBILE, Ala. – The Jags hit the road of the final time this season, traveling to Arkansas State on Thursday at 5 p.m. and Texas State Saturday at 2 p.m.
 
The Jags (6-19, 2-12) went 1-1 over the weekend, beating ULM 72-62 on Thursday and falling to Louisiana 48-58 Saturday afternoon. 
 
Arkansas State (8-17, 3-11) also posted a 1-1 record last week, winning at Troy but losing at James Madison. Texas State (18-7, 10-4) went undefeated over the weekend, beating Southern Miss and Marshall.
 
The last time the Jags and the Red Wolves met, Arkansas State came out on top, winning 63-47. The Jags beat Texas State the last time the teams met, with South winning 45-43.
 
South Alabama was picked to finish 13^th in the Sun Belt, with Arkansas State picked at ninth and Texas State coming in at fifth.
 
South Alabama and Arkansas State are meeting for the 47th time and South is looking to start another win streak against the Red Wolves.
 
The Jags and Texas State are meeting for the 16th time, with South trailing the series 4-11. South is looking for their first win in San Marcos since 2016.
