MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama remains at home through the weekend, hosting the Central Michigan Chippewas on Thursday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m.

The contest is the first meeting between the Jaguars and the Chippewas and is part of the MAC-SBC Challenge, a scheduling alliance in the sports of men's and women's basketball between the Mid-American Conference and the Sun Belt Conference.

The Sun Belt women host the 12 MAC women's basketball teams in the first contest, while the MAC women will return the favor in the second contest, which will take place on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, with the matchups set based on real-time NET rankings and announced in January.

South Alabama is coming off a 74-61 win over Mobile, while Thursday's matchup will be Central Michigan's first of the season.
