MOBILE, Ala. – The South Alabama women's tennis team will continue its fall slate with a trip to Birmingham for the Samford Round Robin hosted by Samford University. The tournament will run from Oct. 13 to Oct. 15 and will be streamed

The Jaguars are coming off a strong showing at the ITA Southern Regionals, where South had three doubles duos advance to the Round of 16. South also had seven singles qualifying wins and three singles main draw wins.
Nikola Novotna led South in singles action, advancing to the round of 16, where she eventually lost.

Eight Jags will make the trip to Birmingham for tournament action, including returners

Nikola Novotna,

Lara van der Merwe and newcomer

The Jags were 18-6 a year ago, going 7-4 in conference matches. South fell in the quarterfinals of the SBC to newcomer James Madison.
