Jaguar women’s basketball returns home to host Arkansas State and Texas State

MOBILE, Ala. – After two weeks on the road, South Alabama women's basketball returns to the Mitchell Center for a pair of games, hosting Arkansas State on Thursday and Texas State on Saturday. The Jags (4-13, 0-6) are still looking for their first conference win of the season.
 
South is coming off an 44-69 loss at Coastal Carolina, while Arkansas State dropped their last matchup 55-89 to Texas State.
 
South Alabama was picked to finished 13th in the Sun Belt, with Arkansas State coming in at 9th and Texas State at 5th. Arkansas State is also looking for its first conference win of the season.
 
South Alabama and Arkansas State are meeting for the 46th time and South currently has three-game winning streak against the Red Wolves.
 
The Jags and Texas State are meeting for the 15th time, with South trailing the series 3-11.
