QUOTABLE – head coach Ben Hannan
The team was able to move a couple of spots on the final day, just talk about the play of the team to close out the tournament...
Each round our scores got better, they fought throughout the week and never gave up.  Unfortunately, we got off to such a poor start that we put ourselves in a huge hole and in a field like this on a hard golf course in difficult conditions it was hard to make up much ground.

Jack Hearn helped the turnaround on the final day, talk about his play with a final round 71...
Jack hits the ball solid and is a smart player which is so important in difficult conditions on a hard golf course.  His play and final round 71 went a long way to help the team this week.  After La Tech, it was good to see Jack bounce back with an individual top-20 finish in an elite field.

The course is enough in itself, talk about the opportunity to play on such a course like Inverness...
To play at a venue like Inverness was such a great experience for the guys.  Getting out of our region and playing in different conditions, on different grasses with different green complexes with a course set-up that is visually different are great opportunities to learn and grow your game.  The shots that are required, the mental strength and focus, all of those things are great opportunities to learn.

The field was tough this week, how does that prepare you for the remainder of the fall season?
To play against an elite field this early in the year will no doubt help us as we continue the season.  Looking back, aside from the opening round, we were competitive the last two rounds and played with a lot of very good programs.  Successful golf is so much about being comfortable in your environment and believing in yourself.  There was a lot to take from this trip that will help us become a better team.
