MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama women's tennis will travel to Birmingham, Ala. to open its fall season at the Bulldog Invitational. The tournament will be all day Friday through Sunday and will take place at the Samford Tennis Center.
Players from South Alabama, Samford, Tulane and MTSU will compete in the tournament. The team will play singles and doubles, not as a team.

MATCH NOTES
- No team results will be recorded.
- Elysia Pool, Luminita Tutunaru, Otoha Aoki, Caraline Scheufler and Tereza Dejnozkova will be the only players competing this weekend.
- Aoki went 16-8 in singles for the spring 2022 season.
- Sophomore transfer Pool will compete in her first match as a Jaguar.
- Freshman Dejnozkova will compete in her first college career match.
- Scheufler went 8-1 in singles last season.
- Tutunaru was named doubles All-Conference Second Team with partner Nikola Kohoutova last season.
- South Alabama went 19-4 last season.
