EL DORADO, Ark. – The University of South Alabama men's golf team will tee off its postseason with the Sun Belt Conference Men's Golf Championship at the Mystic Creek Golf Club Sunday. 

The event will consist of three rounds over the course of three days, with the top four teams at the end of three rounds advancing to match play on Wednesday; the semifinals will take place in the morning on the last day of the tournament, with the winners meeting in the afternoon to play for the championship and an automatic berth to an NCAA Regional.

TEE SHOTS
- South Alabama tied for fourth in par 3 scoring with a 3.25 stroke average at last year's Sun Belt Conference Championship. 
- Lorentzen and Plunkett finished in the top 20 in par 3 scoring with a 2-over-par average each during last year's conference championship.
- Former Jaguar golfer Yannick Schütz finished in the top 20 at last year's conference championship while recording a hole-in-one during the first day of the event. 
- The Jags enter the tournament ranked No. 3 amongst the field of 12 conference opponents.
