PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. – The University of South Alabama women's tennis team will face the number nine seed, Texas State, in the quarterfinal round of the Sun Belt Conference tournament on Friday. Texas State defeated App State 4-2 in the first round in order to advance to play the first seed, South Alabama.

- In addition to finishing the regular season as co-conference champions, five Jags earned awards for their performance this season.

- This is the third time South has played Texas State in the tournament. 
- South Alabama leads the all-time record with Texas State 8-0, including a 4-0 victory on March 27.
