MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama women's tennis team defeated Coastal Carolina 4-1 at the Bruce David Lubel Tennis Courts on Sunday.  

The Jags earned the doubles point with wins on courts two and three. The team went on to win on singles courts one, two and four for the win.

- On today's performance: "It was a good win. I thought we played really good today. We should be excited for various reasons. The quality of play was good and then of course today we clinched a share of the Sun Belt regular season title. That was one of our goals so hopefully that sets us up nicely of the conference tournament. I am just overall pleased with the girls effort and intent. I think we are peaking at just the right time."
