- South Alabama last played the Texas teams in 2019 with the 2020 matchups cancelled due to COVID-19.
- South seeks to extend its six match win streak during the road stretch. 

LAST TIME WITH UTA 
- USA's home win streak dates back to the 2013 season; the previous record lasted from 1998-03.
- The Jags are 5-0 all-time against the Mavericks; Saturday was the first regular-season meeting between the two schools.
- South Alabama improved to 21-1 at the bottom two singles flights.
- Patricia Martins and Pasanen dealt Horiguchi and Pons their first doubles loss of the season (8-1).
- In singles, Martins is a team-best 10-0.

LAST TIME WITH TEXAS STATE
-The Jaguars' run of 62 straight home victories started Feb. 27, 2013 with a 5-2 win over New Orleans.
-Jackson State has been the most frequent victim during the streak with six losses.
-South Alabama improved to 7-0 all-time vs. Texas State.
- Martins is 11-0 in singles this spring, and Kohoutova is now 10-2.
