MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama women's golf team won the Bama Beach Bash March 20-21 at Gulf Shores Golf Club in Gulf Shores, Ala.

USA (295-303-296) entered the final round tied with Texas State before posting a 296 in round three to better the Bobcats by seven shots and claim the tournament title.

TEE SHOTS 
- South Alabama won the tournament with a three-round team total of 894. The Jaguars entered the final round tied with Texas State with a two-round team total of 598 before posting a final-round team score of 296 versus the Bobcats' final-round 303.
- The win marked the Jaguars' second this spring. 
- Shaari finished tied for second with a three-round, 4-over par total of 220 to earn the highest finish among the Jags.
- Hovland finished tied for fifth, marking her best finish of the spring, with a three-round total of 223.
- Lambert earned her second top-10 finish of the spring, finishing tied for eighth with a three-round total of 225.
- Shaari and Hovland tied for second among the field in par-five scoring, playing par fives at a 3-under par average of 4.80 strokes.
- Lambert ranked second in the field in par-four scoring with a 2-over par average of 4.08 strokes.
- Hovland ranked third among the field in birdies with 10.
- Lohoff and Shaari tied for second in the event in pars with 36.
- Shaari, Garcia and Lohoff each carded eagles in the tournament.
