MOBILE, Ala. – After opening the season with nine straight home matches the University of South Alabama women's tennis team will travel to Florida for its first road trip of the season. The Jags are set to play at FAU on Thursday and USF on Saturday.

- With eight victories under their belt the Jags win total is more than that of their opponents' totals combined. 
- This is the first matchup between Florida Atlantic and South Alabama in over 10 years. The last meeting in Boca Raton in 2011 was a 4-3 win for South. 
- The Jags last defeated South Florida in Tampa with a 4-3 win in 2005. 
- South Florida's last trip to South Alabama, marking the most recent trip of the series, was in 2006.
- In the ITA's rankings published on March 2 South Alabama had broken into the top 75 teams with a current ranking of 68.
