NOTES
- Before the match head coach Jaco Keyser will be recognized by South Alabama for his 300th career win earlier this season against Nicholls.
- The teams have met 25 times with South's only loss to the Golden Eagles coming in February of last season at 4-3.
- Both Kohoutova and Van Der Merwe have eight dual wins for the season, however, Kohoutova also leads the Jags with nine doubles wins.
LAST TIME WITH SOUTHERN MISS
- Fujioka and Kohoutova improved to 3-0 in doubles play at the No. 2 position.
- Aoki and Aina Bernabeu earned their second consecutive doubles win as a pair against the Golden Eagles (7-5).
- Kohoutova extended her winning streak in singles action to six matches, improving her overall record to 6-1.
- Aoki improved to a 5-1 overall singles record, with her win coming in straight sets.
