MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama women's tennis team will host Xavier (La.) at the Bruce Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts on Sunday at 1 p.m.

NOTES
- The Jags are hold a perfect record over the Gold Nuggets dating back to their first matchup in 2011.
- Last season South Alabama defeated Xavier 6-1 by sweeping in doubles and giving up just one singles point. 
- Kohoutova and Tutunaru are both undefeated so far this season. 
- The doubles duo is building momentum from their semifinal appearance in the ITA Southern Regional held in October. 

LAST TIME WITH XAVIER
- The match was the first competitive action for South in 2021 as the Jags didn't play in a tournament during the fall of 2020.
- Otoha Aoki made her collegiate debut and recorded her first doubles and singles wins as a Jaguar.
- Milka Pasanen and Yu Fujioka recorded their first win as a pair for South Alabama.
- Cami Moreno and Yurie Takanishi won their first match as a pair at the No. 1 position.
- Takanishi is now 3-0 at the No. 3 spot since the Jags took on Middle Tennessee on Jan. 19 of 2020.
