MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama women's tennis team will host Nicholls and Samford on Feb. 18 and 20 respectively. Friday's match will begin at 1 p.m., alongside the men's tennis team, and Sunday's match will begin at 10 a.m.

NOTES
- South Alabama faced both Nicholls, on Feb. 9, and Samford in 2021. 
- The Jags are 12-1 over Nicholls with their only loss in 1992 with a score of 5-4.
- South is 14-3 against Samford. The last time the Jags won at home was a 4-0 victory on Feb. 29, 2020.

LAST TIME WITH NICHOLLS
- South Alabama improved to 2-0 on the season with a 6-1 victory over the Colonels to remain undefeated at home.
- The doubles team of Takanishi and Cami Moreno recorded their second consecutive win at the No. 1 position and are currently undefeated as a duo.
- The Jaguar doubles teams of Fujioka/ Juliette Talieum and Pasnen/Aoki both posted their first wins as a pair this spring. 
- Fujioka recorded her first singles win in the No. 1 position this season for South Alabama. 
- Moreno picked up her first singles win of the season for USA. 
- Talieu recorded her first singles win of the season for South Alabama.
- Five of the six singles matches were decided in straight sets with only No. 1 going three sets.

LAST TIME WITH SAMFORD
- Samford snapped South's six-match winning streak in the all-time series between the two clubs with its 6-1 win.
 Kohoutova and Aoki recorded their third doubles win as a pair (6-1) against Samford.
- Kohoutova also earned her third consecutive singles victory of the season, with her win coming in straight sets (6-4, 6-3) against Bulldog Lopez.
