MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama men's golf team will open up the spring portion of its schedule Monday when it hosts the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate at the Magnolia Grove Crossings Golf Course.
The event will consist of three rounds in two days, with a shotgun start time of 8 a.m. (CST) on Monday.

TEE SHOTS
- This year's tournament marks the 15th consecutive season that the Jaguars have hosted the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate.
- LeCroy was the Jaguars' top finisher at last year's event after shooting a 5-under, 54-hole score of 211 to tie for fifth place while picking up his third consecutive top-20 finish. He leads the team with two top-10 finishes this season, as well as a team best three top-20 finishes.
- Hearn shot par or better in six of 12 rounds highlighted by a stretch of 16 bogey-free holes, including three birdies, during the fall campaign. Hearn leads the Jags in stroke average (71.92) through four events this season.
- Plunkett owns the lowest single-round by a Jag this season with a 6-under par 66, which came in the season-opening tournament in Choudrant, La.
- USA enters the spring coming off of its best team score of the fall. The Jags posted a 5-under par team total of 859 at the Steelwood Collegiate Invitational Oct. 30-31 in Loxley, Ala.
- At last year's Mobile Bay Intercollegiate, Illinois won the tournament with a three-round, 37-under par total of 827. Michael Feagles earned individual medalist honors with a three-round, 16-under par total of 200.
