MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama women's basketball looks to earn their first road win of the season this week, with matchups at La Tech on Dec. 12 and Nicholls on Dec. 14. Both games will tip off at 6 p.m.
South Alabama and LA Tech are meeting for the first time in 21 years, with the Lady Techsters winning the last matchup. The Jags look to get their first win against LA Tech in program history.
South and Nicholls met last season, with South winning the matchup 73-63. The Jags are 17-4 all-all time against the Colonels and 2-2 under head coach
Terry Fowler. South currently holds a two-game win streak against Nicholls.
LA Tech (6-3) is coming off an overtime loss against Vanderbilt, where two Lady Techsters recorded double figures. Nicholls (3-5) is coming off a 55-72 loss against New Mexico.
Monday's game is the first of four games in eight days for South Alabama before conference play starts Dec. 29.
