MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama hits the road for the first time this season, traveling to Auburn for an in-state matchup in Neville Arena. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and the matchup can be found on SEC Network+.
The Jags are coming off a dominant season-opening win over Spring Hill, beating the Badgers 89-45. Senior forward
Kiana Anderson recorded a double-double, totaling a career-high 14 points and 11 rebounds.
All six newcomers made their official debuts for South Alabama Monday night, totaling 32 points. Freshman
Kelsey Thompson clocked the most minutes, playing 22.
South Alabama and Auburn last met in 2020, when the Jags fell to the Tigers 66-74 in Auburn.
Auburn, under second-year head Coach Johnnie Harris, defeated Sam Houston 90-76 in their season opener Tuesday night in Neville Arena.
The Jags stay on the road through the weekend, traveling to New Orleans on Monday, Nov. 14.
