All-Time Series
• Coastal Carolina owns a 12-2 all-time lead over South Alabama in a series that dates back to Sept. 16, 2000. The schools split a pair of matches last season with CCU defeating the Jags in four sets in Conway, S.C., on Oct. 10 and USA defeating the Chanticleers in four sets on Oct. 31 in Mobile, which snapped a 12-game CCU win streak in the series. South Alabama is 1-7 all-time against Coastal Carolina in Mobile, and 1-1 against the Chanticleers under head coach Jesse Ortiz.

• South Alabama had its 20-game home win streak, which stood as the second-longest in the nation behind Florida Gulf Coast, snapped in its Oct. 21 loss to Texas State. It marked the first Jaguar loss at home since 2020, and the first under head coach Jesse Ortiz.
• The Jags rank 27th nationally in digs per set (16.19), which leads the Sun Belt Conference.
• South Alabama leads the SBC in opponent hitting percentage (.164), blocks (130) and blocks per set (2.77) in league contests, and ranks second in points (811), points per set (17.26), opponent service aces (47), opponent service aces per set (1.00), digs (736) and digs per set (15.66).
• Overall, the Jaguars lead the SBC in blocks (224), digs per set (16.19) and opponent service aces per set (1.09), and rank second in blocks per set (2.46) and total digs (1,473).
• Libero
Rachel Hickey ranks second in the SBC in digs (200) in conference contests, and third in digs per set (4.26). Overall, Hickey ranks fifth in the league in digs (372) and digs per set (4.13). She currently ranks sixth in career digs (1,260) at South Alabama, and needs just three to pass Shannon Vanantwerp (1,262) for fifth on the career list.
• Hickey has been named the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week twice this year (Oct. 4 & Oct. 11), earning the honor in consecutive weeks. She is the first Jaguar in program history to be voted defensive player of the week multiple times in a season.
• Outside hitter
Hannah Maddux ranks 19th nationally in total points (416.5), which ranks third in the Sun Belt Conference. In conference contests, Maddux ranks second in the league in points (245), points per set (5.21) and kills (207), and third in kills per set (4.40). Overall, she ranks third in the SBC in kills (358), kills per set (3.93), points (416.5) and points per set (4.58).
• Outside hitter
Maddie Soboleski ranks seventh in the conference in points per set (4.11) and kills per set (3.71), and 10th in total kills (244) and total points (271.5).
• Middle blocker
Morgan Stalcup leads the SBC in blocks (61) in conference matches, and ranks second in blocks per set (1.30). Overall, Stalcup ranks second in blocks (100), third in blocks per set (1.10) and eighth in hitting percentage (.325).
• Middle blocker
Niki Capizzi ranks fifth in the SBC in hitting percentage (.333).
• Setter
Kailey Keeble ranks fourth in the conference in assists (893) and assists per set (9.92), and ninth in digs (299) and digs per set (3.22). In SBC matches, Keeble ranks fourth in digs (439), and sixth in digs per set (9.54).
• Keeble eclipsed 2,000 career assists at South Alabama in the Jags' Oct. 22 win over Texas State. She has recorded 16 double-doubles this season after posting one in last weekend's series opener at Troy, and has recorded 35 career doubles at South Alabama, which ranks third all-time.
• Keeble was named the Sun Belt Conference Setter of the Week on Sept. 6. It marked the third time in her career she has received the honor after earning the award twice last season.
• Three Jaguar seniors - Rachel Hickey, Alayna Maslinski and
Morgan Stalcup - will be recognized in a postgame ceremony following Saturday's match with Coastal Carolina.
