Jaguar women’s basketball hosts Southeastern Louisiana Tuesday

MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama women's basketball looks to break a three-game losing streak, as they host Southeastern Louisiana Tuesday at the Mitchell Center at 7 p.m.
 
The Jags and the Lions are meeting for the first time since 1990, when South lost 64-79. South is 4-1 all-time against Southeastern Louisiana, with the first meeting dating back to 1981.
 
The Jags (1-3) are coming off a 46-79 loss against Tulane, and are looking for their first win since the season opening win against Spring Hill.
 
Southeastern Louisiana is on a two-game losing streak themselves, dropping games at Utah and San Diego State.
 
Freshman guard Kelsey Thompson currently leads all Sun Belt Conference freshman in points (12.3) and assists (3.0) per game and is currently second for rebounds per game (6.0).
