QUOTES
Head Coach Jesse Ortiz
- On the win:
"Kudos to Marshall, they have three great players; I love Mary McElhaney, Lydia Montague and Regan Tinkle. They're really physical and have a lot of good players over there. I thought it was a serve and reception game, and we did a little better on that and we were the ones that pulled ahead."
- On Friday's match against Coastal Carolina:
"I think it is going to be an absolute dogfight. They're really physical. (Ella) Saada is great, I have a lot of respect for her. (Head coach) Jozsef (Forman) does a great job, so I'm expecting it to be a great match. We have to be willing to go toe-to-toe, and they are the same. I think whatever team wins is going to play better. That's nothing prolific, but that's what is going to have to happen and I'm looking forward to it being us hopefully."
