MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama women's basketball travels to New Orleans on Monday for their last away game of November, before returning home to the Mitchel Center on Thursday for the start of a three-game home stand.
The Jags (1-1) are coming off a road loss at Auburn on Thursday night, where Freshman
Kelsey Thompson scored 21 points off the bench.
The Jags are 21-30 all-time against New Orleans, and 3-1 under head coach
Terry Fowler. South has won 14 of the last 16 matchups, with the latest being a 63-53 win last season.
South leads the all-time series against the Green Wave 13-10, but are 1-2 under Fowler. The Jags look to crack a two-game losing streak against Tulane.
New Orleans (0-1) dropped their season opener against UTEP 83-55 last Monday, while Tulane (1-1) defeated Grambling State 72-46 and fell to Alabama 72-61.
